Hello! My name is Leyanes Yanes. I’m a woman and journalist, in that order works. I come from the Caribbean sun and the Havana portals. I am an adopted daughter from Gran Canaria and a London niece.
The vital experience that emigrating represents, starting over, has reorganized my expectations and my way of understanding journalism. I learned the trade after graduating from the University of Havana, and then it has been a constant re-learning.
